7th Annual National Flag of Canada Day Dinner

Event Details and Mission

Join us on Saturday, February 27, 2027, for an evening dedicated to honouring Canada’s veterans and serving military members while raising awareness, support, and critical funds for Veterans’ House Canada.

The Flag Day Dinner is a celebration of our Canadian flag, our country, and the men and women who have proudly served—and continue to serve—Canada. It is an opportunity for our community to come together in a spirit of patriotism, gratitude, and remembrance while helping address the critical issue of veteran homelessness in Canada.

Our goal is to provide a free-of-charge evening of dining, entertainment, and camaraderie for serving Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans, ensuring that those who have dedicated themselves to our country are able to join us and feel the appreciation of the community they served.

Together, we can honour their service, celebrate our flag, and help provide hope, dignity, and a brighter future for veterans in need.

Memories of Past Dinners

Each year, our Flag Day Dinner brings together veterans, active military members, and community supporters to honour Canada’s flag and those who serve. Through corporate sponsorships and community support, we’ve raised over $50,000 for veteran programs including Soldier On, Royal Canadian Legion, and Veterans’ House Canada.

Our Mission Statement

The Flag Day Dinner exists to honour and thank the men and women who serve and have served Canada by uniting our community in patriotism and purpose. We gather each year to honour our nation’s service members, provide veterans with the opportunity to attend at no cost, and mobilize our community to support homeless veterans — with proceeds directed to Veterans’ House Canada, ensuring those who defended our nation are never left behind.
